Non-scalpel Vasectomy
Considering permanent contraception? At The Health Hub Byron Clinic, we offer non-scalpel vasectomy under local anaesthetic.
Traditionally, vasectomy was performed by making two incisions up to 2cm long either side of the scrotum. However, since the 1980’s, non-scalpel vasectomy has become the preferred method for performing the procedure. Not only is it highly effective, but it is associated with much lower rates of complication (including bleeding and infection) when compared with the traditional method.
We offer a same-day service for anyone interested in having a vasectomy. No GP referral or private health insurance is required.

Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT)
The Australian Professional Association for Trans Health (AUSPATH) recommends an informed consent standard of care for people who are gender diverse and interested in gender affirming hormone therapy.
We are happy to consider self-referrals for any gender diverse client over the age of 18 who is interested in exploring gender affirming hormone therapy, either feminising or masculinising.
